Altan Machinery started as a small machine shop In 1985 making spare parts for brick and tile manufacturing factories. Since then we have grown steadily and expanded our business to include iron and steel casting, machining, custom designed and standard machinery and even turn-key installations of complete factories. In 1996 we moved to our current facilities in the Organize Sanayi Bolgesi of Corum, about 250KM North-west of Ankara.

Our business is organized in two main sections: The foundry; and machinery production. Our factory is located on 33.500 m2 with 7.000 m2 under roof. The factory area is about evenly split between the foundry and machinery production.

Our primary focus in the machinery section is equipment used in brick and tiles production, coal briquetting and foundry equipment. We produce complete machines to our own design and also do subcontract machinery and produce spare parts to our customers' designs. We also sell complete turn-key factories for coal and tile or for coal briquette production. In 2005 we crossed a major milestone in the installation of our first full design and build factory in Western Europe.

The Altan foundry can produce a wide range of iron and steel castings ranging from 0,5 KG to 4000 KG. We cast to our customers' specifications and can produce wear resistant, high temperature and corrosion resistant, carbon steels, stainless steels, corrosion resistant manganase steel as well as pig and spheroidal iron. We perform detailed spectral analysis in-house to control the chemical composition of steel and cast iron products.
